Jimmy Lindner is an Alumni Professor at Auburn University. His research focuses broadly on the human and behavioral dimensions of agriculture and specifically on the adoption and diffusion of innovations facing food systems. In his current role at Auburn, he oversees the Agricultural Education, Leadership, and Communication program. This program is one of the largest in the Nation. He is regarded as the most prolific researcher and author in his discipline and is well recognized for his ability to identify growing challenges and solutions needed to develop food systems needed to feed a hungry planet. Before joining Auburn, he worked at Texas A&M University and Ohio State University, where his research, teaching, and extension focused on human resource management within Agriculture. Lindner is a deep thinker who often says we must solve our growing food system challenges because we all have our feet on the same planet.
